Old Town Cottage 1020 Eaton St., Key West, FL

The property belongs to me, Mark Hunt, an Attorney and former State Legislator in West Virginia. I don’t publicly advertise my vacation abode and only rent it four or five times a year. It is a two bedroom, two bath, cottage located two blocks from the ocean. The home is nestled in the historic seaport neighborhood of Old Town. You can walk or bike to just about everything you want to see or do on the island. Now on with the description.

The Property Features:

Central air conditioning
Two bedrooms with a king sized bed in each room along with cable TV. Two full bathrooms fully equipped with TP etc are next to each bedroom. You and your spouse would be in the master bedroom suite in the back.
Top of the line linens, thirsty towels and comfortable furnishings
Overhead fans in the living room, bedrooms and the hallway.
A fully equipped large kitchen (e.g drip coffee machine, paper towels, spices etc.)
Premium satellite TV (HBO, STARZ etc.) in the living room
Hi speed WIFI
A full size washer and dryer
A huge enclosed deck behind the home with table and chairs for outdoor dining
Off street parking or street parking (depending on size of vehicle)

The Interior and Exterior of the Property:

A view of the counter that separates the living room from the big kitchen that does have all the pots and pans you need for cooking in although I hope you take advantage of the terrific restaurants around town. A view of a television set in the bedroom.

Local Activities:

There is a pool two blocks off site and free with the purchase of a beverage or meal at Dante’s Key West Pool Bar. This is the biggest and best pool in all of Key West and you should love it.

A refundable deposit of $500 takes this home off the rental market and then converts into a security deposit during your stay. You can pay the rent and deposit either by Pay Pal or by a check sent to Me at my home in West Virginia. This covers all the amenities described and shown above as well as the cleaning fees before you come and after you leave. Ideally you can use Pay Pal. I will give you the address. As soon as I get your payment, I will email you the keys procedures, information kit, maps and other information so you have time to ask any questions triggered by the information. If you use Pay Pal it is safe and secure for you and fast and if you use the friends and family method, there is no fee charged. I will return your deposit when the housekeeper says everything is in good order.
